P&C
The WMPS Parents & Citizens’ Association (P&C) is a voluntary organisation of parents and community members. The P&C works with the school to provide fundraising and services that benefit WMPS students. The WMPS P&C Association is a registered charity and each family is encouraged to pay a $30 contribution per year to assist with funding for the P&C. As the P&C is a registered charity, your donation is tax deductable and greatly appreciated.
The P&C gives parents an opportunity to:
- Learn about the school’s policies and programs
- Share in shaping and developing school policies
- Share information and views
- Assist the school in building positive attitudes to students and their families
- Helps raise funds to provide extra resources
Through the continued support of fundraising and parent involvement the P&C has helped fund new library books, furniture, Year 6 Camp, playground boat for ECE, floor artwork and toys in the undercover area, class excursions and incursions, bus fares and canteen equipment. Major contributions have included the construction of the undercover play area in 2018, canteen renovation in 2019 and the nature playground project in 2021. Past fundraising activities have included Sausage sizzles at Bunnings and the School faction carnival, cake stalls, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day raffles, movie nights, lapathon, card and calendar artworks, car boot stall and discos.

Canteen
The canteen operates on Wednesdays and Fridays for morning tea and lunch. Orders must be placed before 8:30am via Qkr, or paid in cash to the canteen. Note that students carrying large amounts of cash ($50 or higher) will be directed to the school office to confirm parent permission.
Volunteers are sought to help prepare and sell food. If you are interested please contact wmpspandc@hotmail.com.
Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop is run by volunteers and is conveniently located on school grounds.
Frequently Asked Questions regarding the Uniform Shop:
How can I order uniforms?
The preferred method is to order via the QKR! App. The order will be processed the following Tuesday and be ready to collect from the front office. Alternatively you can visit the uniform shop on a Tuesday afternoon (see opening hours) and pay via EFTPOS or cash. Please note: Uniforms will not be delivered to classrooms.
When is the Uniform Shop Open?
The shop is open each Tuesday during school term from 2.30pm to 3pm and occasionally during school events.
Is the School Uniform compulsory?
No, however it is strongly encouraged to wear the uniform in line with the school’s Dress Code.
Students should wear the school polos and zip jackets with black bottoms (shorts, skorts, pants, leggings). Bottoms do not have to be purchased at the Uniform Shop however they must be plain black with no designs or logos. Hats must be plain black with adequate sun protection such as the Flap hats and Bucket hats we provide in the Uniform Shop – again, no designs or logos are permitted.
Are Second-Hand Uniform Items available?
The Uniform Shop takes donations. We place any uniform donations in the Second-Hand box to sell on at $2/item. This money goes into the P&C Uniform Shop account and helps with purchasing the next order of brand new uniforms.
I’ve picked the wrong size! Can I return an item?
You may return an item if the item still has its tags on and has not been worn. The item will then be exchanged for the correct size.
